This blockbuster full day interactive workshop begins with an introduction to the whole system approach on which Lifestyle Medicine is founded. Man-made determinants of chronic disease will be discussed and the role of Lifestyle Medicine in creating system change and personal change will be explored, including nutrition and physical activity science and prescription, and facilitating lasting health behaviour change in clinical practice. We will also present an engaging discussion on ‘Diet wars: the evidence, the approaches and common sense. Which diet works for what and for whom?'
